New NCS executive director, helpers and volunteers recruitment

Dear NCS members

Thank you for all your support in this unimaginably difficult times we are in. It has been over 2.5 years since NCS started. It had a rough start with many hurdles to overcome along the way but we have managed to grow slowly but steadily.
  The spread of the virus COVID-19 hit us hard making it almost impossible to host tournaments. The safety of members and organizing team is our top priority and NCS has had to make tough decisions to cancel many tournaments despite the sadness and disappointment that came with those decisions. Online tournaments are not the same as OTB tournaments but they are keeping us connected in these difficult times.

Since the start of NCS, my life has changed slowly and we believe it is time for the organization to make a change and expand with more new faces. We are looking for a new member to take over my position as well as many more volunteers to help grow NCS. You do not need to be a chess player to be involved in NCS. If you are interested and would like to learn more about chess, that is great but what we are looking for are people who can give some time to help NCS grow and work with other volunteers.
