Announcement for the Recruitment of Tournament Staff

We are continuously recruiting event staff for the day of tournaments and events. Various roles are available, including reception duties, setup and takedown tasks, and assisting arbiters during games. Arbiter qualifications or ratings are not required. As long as you have a basic understanding of chess, anyone is welcome to help.

We offer a stipend based on your experience as a staff member or whether you have arbiter qualifications. If you are interested, please contact us at japanchess.info@gmail.com with the subject line “Tournament Staff Application.”

Requirements: 

• Must be able to communicate smoothly in Japanese.

• Must be able to work as part of a team with other staff members.

Additionally, we are continually recruiting volunteer staff for other federation-related tasks as well.
