Entry criteria: Anyone can purchase tickets and participate in this event.
Registration: Purchase tickets through [Peatix] during the registration period. (Limit: 80 players)

Registration period: From 18:00, Thursday, September 4th, 2024 to 16:00 on Sunday, October 13th, 2024
Entry Fee:
Single Ticket 3,000 yen
Pair Ticket: 4,500 yen
two participants may participate on one day with this ticket. Please register for both participants in time of purchase.
※one guardian may accompany a minor participant without purchasing a ticket.

★Rookies Chess
A trial session for chess tournaments.
You can listen to courses on rules of chess, as well as playing actual games just like rated games, and asking questions. Perfect for those who are looking to participating in your first chess tournament!
14:00~15:00
★Blitz Tournament
Participants will be paired randomly with other participants to play Blitz games (5min+3sec/move).
Prizes will be given to players who play 5 games, regardless of game results!
Open All Day
★Top-tier Players’ Blitz Matchup
The strongest players in Japan will play blitz games in front of the participants.
You can watch the top-class games with real-time commentating.

You can challenge chess masters in the simultaneous chess games.

※There is a lottery to participate in the simul matches. To participate in the lottery, please come to the registration desk 10 minutes or earlier prior to each part to sign up.

★Talk Session “Future of Chess in Japan” with Directors of Japan Chess Federation
The three directors of Japan Chess Federation will talk about the future of chess in Japan.
A rare chance to have conversations with the top of Japan Chess Federation and ask questions what chess in Japan will look like.

Other Regulations
- Individuals who wish to use photos or videos of participants (during games, award ceremonies, etc.) must be careful to protect their privacy. In addition to obtaining comprehensive consent in advance, for example, in the case of minors, the permission of their guardians must be obtained, and due consideration must be given to the protection of personal information and portrait rights.
- The organizer will take photos, record videos, and broadcast the event live. These may be published and used in media such as websites, SNS, video sites, and journals managed by Japan Chess Federation. Participants shall agree to the publication and live broadcast of these photos and videos.
- Cancellation must be noticed to japanchess.info@gmail.com. If cancellation is made 8-days before the registration deadline and the number of participants has not reached to the maximum number, a refund will be made. We do not refund from 7-days before the registration deadline. We do not refund once the number of applicants has reached the maximum.
- Japan Chess Federation shall not be responsible for any troubles between individuals.
- If there is a discrepancy between English and Japanese, Japanese version prevails.
