Japan Rapid Chess Championship 2019

Come try some quick chess!!

Dates: June 15th and 16th
Venue: Ota-ku Sangyo Plaza PIO (1-20-20 Minamikamata Ota-ku, Tokyo)
Time control: 15min + 10sec/move
Categories: Master, Challenger (grouping will depend on the number of participants)
Prizes: Top 5 players in each category (1st: 5000yen, 2nd: 4000yen, 3rd: 3000yen, 4th: 2000yen, 5th: 1000yen)
Entry fee: 3000 yen
Entry Deadline: June 12th, 20:00
Entry Cap: 50 participants. Register early!!

* Default time is 10min from the start of each game.
* Recording of moves is NOT required.
* Do not slam or be rough on the clock even when you are under time pressure!
* The grouping of Master and Challenger will be announced before the 1st round. It will be dependent on participants’ rating.
* The winner of the Master group will qualify for Japan Chess Championship 2020.
