EnglishThe FIDE World Senior Teams Chess Championships 2026 will be held from Saturday, April 18, to Wednesday, April 29, 2026, in Durrës, Albania.

Eligibility:
Over-50: Players over 50 (players who will have reached the age of 50 by December 31, 2026, and were born in or before 1976).
Over-65: Players over 65 (players who will have reached the age of 65 by December 31, 2026, and were born in or before 1961).
・In the Open or Women’s category, if four or five players in the same age category with FIDE nationality Japan (JPN) wish to participate, a team will be organized and sent.
・If six or more players wish to participate, player selection will, in principle, be based on the results of the Japan Senior Chess Championship 2025.
