EnglishThe Asian Juniors and Girls Chess Championship 2026 will be held from Sunday, August 16 to Wednesday, August 26 in Mumbai, India.
Registration: Please register via this form by Sunday, July 12. Please read the tournament regulation carefully and submit your application if you agree to the terms.
Eligibility: U20 (Boys and Girls sections; one invited spot per category)
*e.g., U 20 players must be under 20 years old as of January 1, 2026 (born on or after January 1, 2006).
Official players will receive free accommodation and meals. If there are multiple applicants from Japan, the official player will be selected based on their rating.
In this tournament, direct titles will be awarded in accordance with FIDE regulations.
- Gold: GM norm/IM title, WGM norm/WIM title; 1st equal: IM/WIM title
- Silver & Bronze: IM norm/FM title, WIM norm/WFM title
Each title will be awarded once the player has reached the following rating thresholds, even if achieved previously: IM 2200 / WIM 2000, FM 2100 / WFM 1900.
