EnglishFIDE World Championships U7, U9, U11, U13, U15 & U17 2026 will be held in Roquetas de Mar, Spain, from Tuesday, October 13 to Wednesday, October 21.
Registration:
Please register via this form by Sunday, August 20. Please review the tournament regulations carefully and submit your application only after confirming your understanding and acceptance of all terms and conditions.
※A parent or guardian is requested to accompany the player when participating.
※Accompanying persons are required to stay at the official hotel. The costs for accompanying persons are as stated in the tournament regulations.
Eligibility: U7, U9, U11, U13, U15 and U17 (Open and Girls sections; one invited spot per category, for a total of 12 invitation spots)
U7: Born on or after January 1, 2019
U9: Born on or after January 1, 2017
U11: Born on or after January 1, 2015
U13: Born on or after January 1, 2013
U15: Born on or after January 1, 2011
U17: Born on or after January 1, 2009
Official players will not need to pay for accommodation and meals. Official players will be determined based on the results of the Japan Youth Chess Championship 2026 and the Japan Cadets Chess Championship 2026.
