Regarding the Website Outage

On August 30, a system failure was detected on the Japan Chess Federation website. Since it was determined that that same day the cause was unauthorized access by a third party, in coordination with our server management company, we took measures including shutting down the website.

Subsequently, after strengthening access controls and reverifying the content, we relaunched the website today on a new server. We plan to restore certain content in stages.

Please note that no personal information was stored on the server, and there was no leak of personal information.
