EnglishThe FIDE World Youth Chess Championships 2025 will be held in Durres, Albania, from Friday, October 3rd, to Thursday, October 16th.

Eligibility: U14 (Open and Girls categories) – Born on or after January 1, 2011
U16 (Open and Girls categories) –Born on or after January 1, 2009
U18 (Open and Girls categories) – Born on or after January 1, 2007
For participants from Japan, one player from each category (U14, U16, and U18, both Open and Girls) will be eligible as an invited player and will receive free board and lodging. The invited players will be selected based on the results of the Japan Youth Chess Championship 2025.
Additionally, direct titles will be awarded to the top three players in each category in accordance with current FIDE regulations.
