Notice of New Year’s Referral Campaign

　We are pleased to announce the following limited time referral discount campaign. Both referrers and referees will receive special benefits, so please consider taking advantage of this opportunity to become a member of the Japan Chess Federation!

Terms and Conditions

Application Period: Wednesday, January 15, 2025 – Monday, March 31, 2025
Description: New members (referees) and referrers will receive a discount code that can be used for tournaments organized by the Japan Chess Federation and Japan Chess Federation Registered Clubs.
Referrals can be from individuals as well as from the Japan Chess Federation Registered Club.
Eligibility: New members during the above period (those who have paid the annual membership fee via PayPal and completed registration on the MiiT+ member portal site. Re-enrollment is not eligible.)
Referrers must be either a member or a registered club of the Japan Chess Federation.
Tournaments: Tournaments organized by the Japan Chess Federation and Rated Tournaments by registered clubs of the Japan Chess Federation.
Discount code validity: tournaments held before Tuesday, July 1, 2025
Discount Offers: A discount code worth 1,000 yen will be given (Non-transferable/Valid for one time only)
How to apply: Please enter your information and your referrer’s information from the link in the Welcome mail sent to you after you have completed your membership.
Discount code will be sent to the e-mail address registered on the MiiT+ membership portal site for the new member and his/her referrer.

Precautions

Please note that it may take some time to issue the code. If you have a tournament you wish to participate in, please apply in advance.
*If you refer to more than one person, you will obtain multiple discount codes.
*One discount code can only be used for one tournament. Please note that multiple codes cannot be used at one tournament.
