Bashamichi Chess Tournament 2022

Regulations

Dates/Venue/Format:

• Date (Dates): 5/28 (Sat) – 5/29 (Sun)
  You can play chess between 13:00 and 17:00 there.
• Venue: Bashamichi Hiroba
  Near JR Kannai station or Kannai station of the Yokohama Municipal Subway Blue Line.
  5 Chome−71, Onoecho, Naka Ward, Yokohama, Kanagawa
• Format:
  Free to play non-official games during the event.
  (Please wear an unwoven mask and disinfect your hands.)
• There will be knockout tournaments on both days.
  1st periode 13:30～14:00 registration, 14:00～15:00 games
  2st periode 15:00～15:30 registration, 15:30～16:30 games
  (Scheduled time may be slightly different.)
  Games are all blitz chess games. (Time control is 5-10 min.)
  A Draw is considered to be a win for black.
  The final round game will be played with big chess pieces on a huge board in the Bashamichi Hiroba.
• Special prize for the participants.
• Due to the spread of coronavirus infection, weather, or other unpredictable reasons, the rules may have to be changed or the event may have to be cancelled.
