Announcement of the change in the operation dates and time of Chess Center UENO

The operation dates of Chess Center UENO(CCU), opened in February, will be added, and will be opened in 10:00-14:00 on Saturdays, starting in March. By operating on both days of the weekend, more chess players can enjoy playing in CCU.

As for the operation time of Sundays,since there were not many participants in the night hours(18:00-22:00), the operation time will be shortened to 10:00-18:00.

After the changes below, the operation dates and time will be as below.

Thursday: 17:00-22:00 (Last Entrance: 21:30)

Saturday: 10:00-14:00 (Last Entrance: 13:30)

Sunday: 10:00-18:00 (Last Entrance: 17:30)

There will be two time frames, 1. 10:00-14:00 / 2. 14:00-18:00

In case of other tournaments and events held by Japan Chess Federation taking place on the same day, CCU may be closed.

*Starting from April 28th, this will be applicable. We look forward to your participation in Shimokita Street Chess 2024.
