EnglishAsian Individual Chess Championships 2025 will be held from Tuesday, May 6 to Friday, May 16 in Al Ain, UAE.
Registration: Please email japanchess.info@gmail.com by Monday, March 17th.
Eligibility: Open and Women
For participants from Japan, one player from each of the Open and Women sections will be eligible as invited player. They will be provided with board and lodging. If there are multiple applicants, the invited slot will be determined based on the results of the Japan Chess Championship 2024 (Open) and the Japan Women’s Chess Championship 2024 (Women).
The top ten (10) from the 2025 Asian (Open) Championship shall qualify into the FIDE World Cup 2025 and top two (2) from the 2025 Asian Women’s Championship shall qualify into the FIDE Women’s World Cup 2025.
