EnglishAsian Seniors Chess Championships 2025 will be held from Saturday, October 4th to Tuesday, October 14th in Erbil, Iraq.

Eligibility:
Over-50：Players over 50 (players who have reached the age of 50 by December 31st, 2025, and were born in and before 1975.)
Over-65：Playres over 65 (players who have reached the age of 50 by December 31st, 2025, and were born in and before 1960.)
Total prize amount : 3,000 USD
In standard chess open category, direct titles will be awarded to the top three players.
The Gold medalist (first after tiebreak) shall receive a GM norm. 1st equal (first three after tie break) will receive the IM title. The Silver and Bronze medalists shall receive IM norms and FM titles.
Each title will be awarded once the corresponding rating—2200 for IM and 2100 for FM—has been achieved, whether that was in the past or upon reaching it in the future.
