The 19th Asian Schools Chess Championships 2025 will be held from Friday, October 24th to Sunday, November 2nd, in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

Eligibility:U17(including one official player each for Boy & Girl for U7, U9, U11, U13, U15, U17)
*U17 refers to players of Japan Chess Federation who have not reached the age of 17 by January 1, 2025.
(i.e. were born in and after 2008).
Official players will not need to pay for accommodation and meals. Official players will be determined based on the results of the Japan Youth Chess Championship 2025 and the Japan Cadets Chess Championship 2025.
In addition, the age categories for this tournament are different from those of the Youth Championships and Cadets Championships, which serve as the basis for the selection criteria. If multiple players qualify for the same age category in this tournament, the higher-ranked player in the respective age category of the selection tournaments will receive an invitation slot. If two players have the same ranking, each will receive a half-price invitational slot.
In this tournament, direct titles will be awarded to the top three players in each of the Open (Boy) and Girl categories.
U13 , U15 & U17 – The Gold Medalists shall be awarded FM / WFM. The Silver & Bronze Medal winners
shall be awarded CM / WCM.
U7 , U9 & U11 – The Gold, Silver & Bronze Medal winners shall be awarded the title of CM / WCM
For direct title to be awarded immediately an applicant has to achieved at some
time a minimum rating published or interim as follows:
FM 2100 / WFM 1900, CM 2000 / WCM 1800
