Participation in FIDE rated events in Japan

  1. FIDE ID is required in order to participate in any FIDE-rated tournaments.
  2. Japanese passport holders can contact NCS to request an issuance of FIDE ID under Japan Chess Federation.
  3. FIDE ID is issued for NCS full members only.
  4. If your nationality is not Japan, contact your national chess federation to have your FIDE ID issued. If it is not possible, contact FIDE first.
