Bashamichi Street Chess 2024 | 日本チェス連盟

The annual Bashamichi Street Chess will be held again this year.

This is a fun event for those who are interested in chess but have never played before.

Invite your friends and family, and let’s get together in Yokohama!

This event will be held on the last day of the “Bashamichi Festival” scheduled to be held from 10/31 to 11/3.

There are many other events at the Bashamichi Festival, so please enjoy them as well!

Events

The final match will be played dynamically on the big chess board built in the road.

Both player will have 5~10 minutes to play in the blitz game, and Black will advance in case of a draw.

Registration：16 people will be accepted on site on the day of the event (if there are too many applications, a drawing will be held)

Free to participate, so jump in the tournament!

Between the tournaments, you can play casually with the big board or the boards on the tables.
