Notification of Registered Club Name Change

As of September 2025, the registered club Kashiwara Chess Club has officially changed its name to Caissa Osaka Chess Club.

The Caissa Osaka Chess Club operates as the Osaka branch of the Caissa Hong Kong Chess Club, headquartered in Hong Kong. Under the leadership of Mr. Leonardo Brinkmann, the club organizes chess lessons, tournaments, and a variety of events. In recent years, its activities have expanded beyond Kashiwara City into Osaka City, and it is also planning to host tournaments for children in the Kansai region.

The Japan Chess Federation will continue to support the activities of its registered clubs and remain committed to promoting and developing chess throughout Japan.
