EnglishThe 42nd Cappelle la Grande Open will be held in Cappelle-la-Grande, France, from February 21 (Sat) to 27 (Fri), followed by the 9th Cappelle la Grande Rapid Tournament on February 28 (Sat). In this event, up to four Japanese players (players with chess nationality as Japanese) have the opportunity to participate as invited players.
Invited players will receive complimentary accommodation during the event. Please note that accommodation will be based on double occupancy (twin room with breakfast). Kindly be aware that you may share a room with another invited Japanese player.
If you wish to participate as an invited player, please apply through this form by January 30 (Fri). In the event of more than four applications, the invited players will be determined based on the results of the Japan Chess Championship 2025.
