Notice of Change in Opening Hours – Chess Center UENO

Chess Center UENO (CCU) will update its opening hours starting February 2026, as follows.

New Opening Hours
Thursday: 17:00 – 22:00 (Last entry at 21:30) No change
Saturday: 12:00 – 17:00 (Last entry at 16:30)
Sunday: 12:00 – 17:00 (Last entry at 16:30)

Previous Opening Hours
Saturday: 10:00 – 14:00
Sunday: 10:00 – 14:00, 14:00 – 18:00

On Sundays, the two time frames will be combined into a single frame from 12:00 to 17:00.
Saturday hours will also change to 12:00 – 17:00, the same as Sundays’.

These changes are intended to reduce closures and address visitor feedback on our previous hours.
We expect this update will allow more people to enjoy chess at CCU.
