[Special Event for Women] Simul with GM Alexandra Kosteniuk

GM Alexandra Kosteniuk (https://ratings.fide.com/profile/4128125), who will participate in the “Women’s Chess Tour 2026 Tokyo” on June 6–7, will host a women-only simultaneous exhibition at Chess Center UENO. GM Kosteniuk, who represents Switzerland, is a former Women’s World Champion and has long been recognized as one of the world’s top female chess players. During her visit to Japan, GM Kosteniuk hopes to interact with female chess players in Japan, so the event will be held as follows.

Eligibility: Women only (for Japan Chess Federation members)

Fee: 500 yen (tax included) 

*Food and drinks may be brought in.

* One additional guardian may enter for minor participants.

Registration: Purchase tickets through [Peatix] during the registration period (Limit: 16 spots)

Registration Period: From 19:00 on Wednesday, May 27th, 2026 to 23:59 on Saturday, June 6th, 2026

・The organizer will take photos and record videos. These may be published and used in media such as websites, SNS, video sites, and journals managed by the Japan Chess Federation. Participants shall agree to the publication of these photos and videos.

・If you wish to cancel the participation of the event, please email to info.chesscenterueno@gmail.com.  We do not refund from 3-days before the registration deadline. We do not refund once the number of applicants has reached the maximum.

・The Japan Chess Federation cannot be held responsible for any problems that occur between individuals.

・If there is a discrepancy between English and Japanese, the Japanese version prevails.
